Born that Man No More May Die

Some may think it strange to talk about death at Christmas time. They say this is a time to be merry- not to think of dying, but overcoming death is what we rejoice about at Christmas.

The authors of our Christmas carols understood this as shown in these words from Hark the Herald Angels Sing:

Born that man no more may die. Born to raise the sons of earth. Born to give them second birth. Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the newborn King!"

The Reason Behind Christmas

I like this video about children helping an older man find joy in Christmas. Children can remind us of so much that is important. They have a joy in living. Sometimes as we get older we allow our hurts and disappointments to rob of of this joy.  It also reminds us of not letting commercialism take over and spoil our Christmas season.

Words of Comfort

I think this music is beautiful and peaceful. Enjoy. We generally think of joy and happiness at Christmas time, but I know of some people who are suffering. It is especially difficult to be hurting when others are merry. I was sorrowing with a person I love, and as I read from the scriptures I began to feel peace. Here are some words of comfort for those in need.

He is the Gift

In all our hurry we need to remember what Christmas is really about. It is about a life of love. It is about hope for the future. It is about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
